At NJ Lux Ride, we understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as flexible as possible. However, to efficiently manage our scheduling and to fairly compensate our drivers and staff for their time, we have implemented the following cancellation policy.

Cancellation Charges

Local Destinations (New Jersey, New York, & Pennsylvania)
Cancellations made less than four (4) hours prior to the scheduled pickup time at any local destination within New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the booked fare. This charge compensates for the allocation of vehicle and driver resources that cannot be redirected in a short timeframe.

Airport Pickups

For services booked to or from airports, a stricter cancellation policy is necessary due to the complexities of airport scheduling, traffic considerations, and vehicle positioning. Cancellations made less than two (2) hours before the scheduled pickup time at the airport will result in a charge of 100% of the fare. This fee applies to all bookings intended to pick up clients from airport locations, regardless of delays or changes in flight schedules.

Notification of Cancellation

To cancel a booking, please contact NJ Lux Ride as soon as possible through our designated phone, email, or via our website. Timely notification helps us better manage our fleet and potentially mitigate cancellation charges where feasible.
Processing of Cancellation Fees.

Cancellation fees will be charged to the payment method on file. By booking services with NJ Lux Ride, you agree to this charge being applied in accordance with this cancellation policy.

Exceptions

We may waive cancellation fees under certain extenuating circumstances such as severe weather conditions, emergencies affecting our service area, or other situations impacting our ability to perform the service. Such waivers are granted at the sole discretion of NJ Lux Ride management.

Changes to the Cancellation Policy

NJ Lux Ride reserves the right to update or modify this cancellation policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on our website. We encourage clients to review our cancellation policy periodically to stay informed of any changes.
